This week I’m participating in the #mywritingprocess blog tour. I’d like to thank author, Suzanna Lynn, for inviting me on this blog hop. You can visit her blog here. Here are the 4 questions every author must answer on this blog tour. I hope you enjoy reading mine: Q&A 1.) What am I working on? Currently I'll be publishing Culmination, which will be the final book in the Chronicles of the Fallen series. Soon after the southern contemporary romance, Southern Roots will publish. I'm currently in the process of writing my 6th book with another author. We have titled it Deadly Alchemy. Our target is to publish sometime in the September time frame. 2) How does my work differ from others in its genre? My work in Chronicles of the Fallen differs from other angel and demon stories in the paranormal genre because the protagonist, Lisa, will fight for her soul between an Incubus demon (the antagonist) who has set sights on claiming her soul, and an angel, who is bound to protect her at all costs. Typically in this type of story line the reader would find the female struggling between two loves; the bad boy (demon) and the good guy (angel). In Fallen, this is definitely not the case. Samuel, the demon, does not leave the choice up to Lisa. He makes it for her, forcing her hand so to speak. The story pushes the line between good and evil. It ends with a HEA; however, the characters are put through a serious struggle to get there. 3) Why do I write what I do? I love stories about angels and demons. I love to do research on real characters then write a story from their point of view. Becoming a vessel, of sorts, is one of the many reasons I love writing! These characters have a story to tell. It is up to whoever is listening to write it. 4) How does my writing process work? When a story comes to mind, it is not something that is slow. It is almost like an explosion! It appears and I need to quickly write down what is being "told" to me. I review what I have noted then begin an outline. I write out the story at a very high level perspective... like a 20,000 foot view so to speak. I then take each section and being forming chapters... then start writing! ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~~~~~~~ Be sure to visit these authors on their blogs next week, June 16 - 19th, 2014. Website/Blog: www.melaniermeadors.wordpress.com Tim began writing at a very young age. As a teenager he would write short stories of horror to entertain himself and his friends. Not knowing at the time this would one day lead to his dream of becoming a published author. Tim has studied various religions and psychology as evident not only in his earlier religious publications, but also in his later work as an extreme horror author. Tim’s true calling began in the horror genre with The Hand of God series. Although the book still retains religious qualities it is a complete 180 from his earlier writings. His main character is Pastor Charlie who does “God’s Work” by murdering those who sin. His four years serving as a U.S. Marine is also apparent in this series, with his realistic descriptions of weapons and tactics Pastor Charlie and various other characters use throughout the books. He branches out further into the horror genre with the publication of Dark Exorcist. Tim’s knowledge of religion still plays a major role in this book, along with his time spent working as a correctional officer. In Family Night Tim begins his descent into extreme horror. Eddie is loving father with a very dark and sadistic side. Family Night is psychologically terrifying. His description of torture and gore push boundaries other authors would never dare to cross. He is able to touch every nerve with the reality that this is something that could be happening right now. With similarities to one of Tim’s favorite horror movies, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, you will find that Eddie and his family are even harder to forget. Tim currently lives in San Antonio, Texas with his loving wife and children. He enjoys going to Comic and Horror Cons as often as he can. Above all he loves meeting his fans and talking to them on his Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/AuthorTimMiller and on his Goodreads page at https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/6153491.Tim_Miller Website/Blog: http://timmiller.org Growing up in a small town close to Seattle, Rose saw many different walks of life.
