What is steampunk?

a genre of science fiction that has a historical setting and typically features steam-powered machinery rather than advanced technology.
a style of design and fashion that combines historical elements with anachronistic technological features inspired by science fiction.

These totally help, right? Sure! Check this out for fashion statements of steampunk!

Now that we know what steampunk is (not that you didn't already know) let's continue into the Alchemy series!
Deadly Alchemy and Fatal Alchemy, books one and two in the Alchemy series, detail the story of alchemist Amelia Rimos and the "cure" for vampirism, the vampires who want to manipulate it, the werewolves who vow to stop them, and the evil who want to destroy everything not human.
Wow... that's a lot, right? Well the story will continue with Wicked Alchemy!
In book three, we'll dive further into the story regarding Adam and Sophie. If you read Fatal Alchemy, you already know what happened to them, and it was tragic. In Wicked Alchemy there's a new enemy in the midst and it is up to Adam and Sophie to figure out who it is, and how to stop them, while working separately with their new respective 'teams'.

Marcus, a vampire who has risen through the ranks, is plotting a hunting exposition; hunt down and destroy all other supernatural creatures in the world. Along the way, Marcus inadvertently meets Sarah and discovers through her, he has a way into her world...a way to Amelia and the pack. He plans to use Sarah to his advantage, but what he didn't count on, what he did not see coming, was Sarah capturing more than just his attention. With the test of wills, can Marcus hold true to his plans and keep his intentions with Sarah? Will Sarah be able to tell truth from lies and keep herself, and her friends, safe? When intentions become fatal, death could follow around any turn.

So who's excited to get their hands on Marcus? Trust me, this story is HOT!!!

Okay so switching genres, let's talk about the new series I've started, Special Ops. Book one, Delta Force, is slated to publish in April. Possibly April 7th if all goes as planned! I have not shared the cover quite yet as it is not ready, but let me tell you, it will be AMAZING! I'm featuring cover model, Kenolivier Gisbert on it and the man works it! Check out one of the photogs proofs he sent me!

Ken is a great guy and is super excited to be featured as Logan Saunders.

Synopsis:
Special Ops soldier Logan Saunders is at the top of his game. He has led nearly impossible missions in the heat of war, while having a wife at home who waited for his return.
Or so he thought. Receiving word of a fatal collision, Logan returns home and soon discovers her infidelity.

When forced with a life changing decision, Logan meets a woman who will change his life. Problem is, she is his assigned therapist. And she is off limits.
Will she be able to help Logan get over his past and forgive his wife? What about forgiving himself?
In the line of fire, there is fight or flight. This is a fight Logan intends to win.

I have started writing book two in this series, Sniper. You meet Tom Brody in Delta Force and Sniper is his story. Brody is a sniper and has a best friend... who is a woman... and he's in love with her. Antonella, or Tony to her friends, feels the same way about him. They vowed never to cross that line, but when he is deployed to war, they decide enough is enough and take the plunge. Hot, right? Oh there's more, much more, to this story! I am excited to get this in your hands!!!

Fatal Intentions and a new book series in the works!

Back earlier this year I published Deadly Alchemy. It is my historical/steampunk/paranormal novel about vampires, werewolves, and an alchemist in a heap of trouble.
I had intended on this being a stand alone novel. Well the characters thought different!
Fatal Intentions, book 2, has a target date set for Tuesday, January 19, 2016. If this changes, I'll be sure to communicate it immediately.

And the second part of my post, the new series in the works!
Back in March, I finished writing Delta Force, the first novel in the new series I'm starting called "Special Ops". It will be a military romance series based on realistic events that have occurred during times of war. The first book is not based on real life events, but the accounts are factual. The other stories, I will be interviewing soldiers that have been in Special Ops, Commanders, Leaders, Snipers, Rangers, etc. Their stories will be told. I am looking forward to this new adventure and I hope you hold on tight with me because the ride WILL be wild! I'm featuring Kenolivier Gisbert on the cover of Delta Force. He's as excited as I am to see the finished product. Ken and James, the amazing photog, thank you for everything and capturing what I was looking for!

Paramour

Coming January 2016 will be the next book in the Southern Roots series, Paramour! Notice I did not say final? More will come, that I can definitely tell you! Paramour is Derek's story. If you've read City Lights and/or Driven Hunger, you've met Derek and know a little bit about him.
Synopsis:
Can he accept love if he can’t accept himself?
Lead man of Mongrels of Soul, Derek, has a secret. His friends have accepted his secret, but will the world? One thing for certain, once the world knows, this could make or break him… or would it?
Meeting a man of a lifetime, Derek wants to pursue what he feels. Scott, a male revue dancer, wants Derek to go public. When he hesitates, will Scott wait for him?
More than chords will be played and it is up to Derek to make the final move.

Fatal Intentions

Soon after, the sequel to Deadly Alchemy will release! Titled Fatal Intentions, this story will take you back in time of corsets and bustle skirts, mixed with steampunk ingenuity. John and Amelia are back, as well as Adam, Sophie and Sarah. You'll also meet new characters: Irina, Marcas, Tomas, and Elena. All play a pretty big role in this story. It is quite different from Deadly Alchemy, but kept the same premise; vampires, werewolves, and a new supernatural being: Necromancers. It is a wild ride so be ready for it early spring 2016!

Special Ops: Delta Force

You may have heard me talk here and there about a military romance, or better known as The Special Ops series. Book one, Delta Force, is done, and edits need to be done. Collaborative Effort with Marianne Morea

That's right! Marianne and I have put our heads together to begin writing a book together! We've talked about it, mewed over ideas, tossed things here and there, then finally, came up with a great idea! We're just at the beginning stages. I think we may try to have it completed for publishing in 2016, but don't tell Marianne I said that! HA!
