HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY AMERICA! Just a few words to the wise. Consider those around you tonight when setting off fireworks.
Animals can be scared of the sounds and noises made. If you have such animals, leave them indoors or have someone sit with them outside to keep them comforted.
Our veterans who have been through Hell and back in times of war... loud noises of fireworks can trigger episodes of PTSD. Please, please consider this tonight if you or someone near you suffers from this. It is not a joke.
If your area is dry, say like Arizona, please use caution when setting off fireworks. If the grass/area is dry, chances are with the wind, a fire could catch and the grounds would burn. Seems like a no brainer here, but we never consider this when excitement takes over.
Adult supervision people. Use common sense. Don't drink and set off fireworks. Again, use common sense.
Last and definitely not least, thank a soldier for your freedom. Freedom isn't free, coming from the daughter, sister and wife of the military.
Happy Birthday America! May your independence come every year and never fail!
